The Cooper S/T Maxx provides maxx toughness and maxx traction with no compromises, and is manufactured for maximum cut-n-chip resistance and durability. It uses Armor-Tek3 technology to reinforce the stability of the sidewall better than other normal radial 2- or 3-ply tires. Its large surface area tread elements ensure positive grip and even wear for on- and off-road performance. The hybrid 4-5 rib tread design allows for additional even wear and a quiet ride, while its dual draftwalls and non-parallel groove walls help reduce stone retention. Likewise, its stone ejector ribs help prevent stone drilling. The enhanced buttress design and alternating shoulder scallops provide additional off-road traction, abrasion resistance, and help prevent lug tearing.
